Ingredients:
1 box (small) package orange jello
1 yellow cake mix
1 small pkg vanilla instant pudding
1 pkg Dream Whip
1 1/2 cups cold milk.
Dissolve jello in 3/4 cup hot water. Add 1/2 cup cold water. Let stand at room temperature
Make cake according to box directions.
Let cake cool completely.
Poke deep holes, about 1 inch apart. Pour or spoon jelloe oever entire cake. Refrigerate while making
topping.
In a chilled bowl mix 1 pkg instant vanilla pudding ; 1 pkg Dream whip and 1 1/2 cups cold milk .
Beat until thick (3-5 minutes with electric mixer). Spread over cake. Store in refrigerator. (may also be frozen)
(note: I usually double the topping recipe; makes cake much better).
