Ingredients:
4 skinless chicken breasts
2 small cans sliced water chestnuts
celery
green onions
1 pkg won tons wraps (small squares)
soy sauce
cooking oil
Boil chicken and let cool enough to handle.
chop finely
cut up celery and onions finely (I don't have a specific amount; I just guess about 1 cup finely chopped celery and 1/2 cup finely chopped greens)
drain water chestnuts and chop finely
Mix chicken, onions, celery and waterchestnuts and small amount of soy sauce to taste.
Using your fingers; pinch up small amount; about teaspoon full and place in center of each wrap; cross over ends. dip finger in beat egg yoke to help seal edges when you fold over.
Heat oil in large frying pan over med-high heat; place won tons in hot oil; make sure oil covers about 3/4 of wontons; cook over med.
heat until light brown and then turn. Watch carefully they will burn quickly.
Place on paper towel in plate to help drain oil.
